WHAT WE DO
PADA is an organization
for young professionals who are focused on raising awareness about domestic abuse and empowering those who have been affected by it. Through the use of social media, online campaigns, volunteering opportunities, and networking events, PADA creates a group of advocates for the fight against domestic abuse and works closely with TMWF to achieve our mission.
MEET THE BOARD
SARAH HASSAN
Sarah is in the HR industry and works as a Compensation Analyst. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2019 and helped form PADA afterwards to raise awareness for women's rights and empowering those affected by domestic abuse.
MAHA ALI
Maha is a recent UT Dallas graduate with a B.S. in Neuroscience. She currently works in the healthcare field as a medical assistant while applying to medical school. She is currently on the Board of Directors for her local mosque. She strongly believes that empowering women will change the world.
ISRAH MERCHANT
Isra works at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute (MMHPI) in Dallas, supporting the CEO and Executive Chief of Staff. Prior to her role at MMHPI, she served as the District Director for a member of the Texas House of Representatives. Isra graduated from Texas A&M University in December 2018 with a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Politics and Diplomacy and a minor in French. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Social Work.
DEENAH KAFEEL
Deenah is a digital strategist at Simpler Trading. Prior to Simpler, she consulted for Facebook and Accenture, and held numerous marketing positions in tech startups. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019 from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's in Journalism, and is currently pursuing her UX/UI certification through the McCombs School of Business.
MATEEN ALI
Mateen is a Senior Analyst in Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions and has held numerous positions within the finance industry. His experiences include investment banking, investment management, venture capital, and real estate private equity. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018 from The University of Texas at Dallas Business Honors Program.
SAMEER ALI
Sameer is a financial analyst currently working in FP&A and has held numerous operations roles in the Defense industry. He led a corporate wide non-profit initiative to support local food banks, which raised over $85k, and is a member on the Finance Advisory Committee for Texas Muslim Women's Foundation (TMWF). Sameer graduated Cum Laude in 2017 from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's in Finance.
